INTRODUCTION
(I) Redeem is to buy back
(II) To recover back by payment
(iii) To Rescue
(Iv) To Deliver free
(v) To Reclaim
(IV) To pay the penalty of
 (vii) To atone for, to compensate for the faults of others. JESUS CHRIST fulfilled all of the above so He's our redeemer.

BACKGROUND OF OUR STUDY

God created man for an extension For God’s dominion over other created things. so God created Him in His image and likeness. both Natural and moral. in the possession of personality and character. From man’s likeness to God flowed His dominion over all other created things Gen.1:26-27, God placed man at the climax of all earthly creation: step by step He proceeded until man was reached as the crown of all earthly creation Ps.8:4-8. so we see the plan for creation of man was purposeful and deliberate.

THE NEED FOR REDEMPTION OF MAN

The need arose, when man willingly stepped out of God’s divine Nature, through disobedience Gen. 3:3, 6 He also lost the place of dominion, Rom.3:23; 5:14.19.
Fear, fault and need came over Him instead. Gen.3:10 He lost His habitation and was subjected to hard labour Gen.3:23,24.
GOD‘S REDEMPTION PLAN FOR MAN
God's redemption plan for man started way back in the days of Noah. Gen.6:5-8
But was complete in JESUS Isa. 9:6,7 Matt.1:21.

THE PRICE FOR MAN’S REDEMPTION

The price was man's total obedience Rom.5:19,21; Phil. 2:8, man obeyed God totally even though it resulted at death on the cross. We found out here that no man on earth would have been able to pay the price so God sent His Son in the form of man and He did for man, what man could not do for himself.

Man paid the full price and so man was back to His original place or dominion through Christ Jesus Rev. 5:9,10. Amen.

CONSERVING THE FRUITS OF EVANGELISM  TEXT: Matt. 28:18-20; Mk. 16:15-20; Acts 2:41-47.  INTRODUCTION There are two parts of the great commission which was given to the church by Our Lord Jesus Christ. TOPIC: WITNESSING TO A LOST SOCIETY TEXT: Acts 17:16-33  MEMORY VERSE: Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, when he saw the city wholly given to idolatry - Acts 1 7.16. CENTRAL TRUTH: Christians have the God ordained responsibility to declare the truth of the Gospel to an ungodly society. The truth of the Gospel is the message of life to the lost and hope to the hopeless from the living God. We are living in a society given to idolatry and other abominations and therefore needs the power of God to bring it back to life. it is only the potent power of God that can quicken men's dead consciousness. “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord", we need to persuade men by proclaiming the true God, teaching them repentance from dead works and faith in the living God.
