He was called by God to serve. ‘Service’ is defined as an act of help or skill that a person is able to offer. The Hebrew Equivalent of the word service is “ABODDE” which means work of any kind, act, bondage, bond-servant, labor, ministering, ministry, servile, servitude, tillage, use, work, wrought etc. these root words are interrelated, it implies to “help rendered”. By application, Christian’s service is a part of religious activities. Every child of God must find something to do in the house of God to enlarge His kingdom. We have confidence that God hears and answers our prayers. Those who trust God and commit their ways to Him are never ashamed.
